During the 1960-61 era, KIOA purchased a song parody jingle service from CRC, Commercial Recording Corporation. These were popular song sound-alike jingles. CRC sent fresh song parody jingles periodically during the term of the contract.
Here are a few of these jingles, which are to this day occasionally played by Dic Youngs on the KIOA Original Saturday Night Oldies Show.
