According to former KIOA program director Peter McLane, very few pictures of the 8th and Keo studios exist. The station moved in to the facilities several months after the February 26, 1963 fire that destroyed the 5th and Park studios. The building had an unusual shape due to the way the streets came together. A "fishbowl" type control room was put in the front window of the building and the production studio was in the basement.
Peter loaned DesMoinesBroadcasting.com these two small pictures that look like they were taken with an early Polaroid camera, perhaps the inexpensive "Swinger" model.
